AIIUQ Congress 2024 – June 5 to 9, 2024

The Magic team is proud to have contributed to the event logistics of the joint AIIUQ and NENA conference. This major event held from June 5 to 9 at the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec, brought together nearly 400 participants, exhibitors and speakers under the inspiring theme: “Innovations in emergency care: redefining excellence”.

The conference provided an opportunity to exchange innovative ideas and share best practices in emergency care. The presentations and workshops offered sparked exciting discussions and highlighted the latest advances in the field.

Our warmest congratulations to AIIUQ and NENA on the success of this event! We are extremely proud to have contributed to this initiative, which pushes back the frontiers of excellence in emergency care. We look forward to continuing our involvement in such initiatives, and to continuing to support the evolution of emergency care by emphasizing the importance of collaboration and innovation.

The event in a nutshell:

  • NENA reports a 41% increase in revenues over its previous event, held in Calgary in 2023.
  • Over thirty partners
  • Nearly 400 participants, a record for both associations.
  • More than 50 conferences, including the presence of Canada’s Chief Nursing Officer, ENA (Emergency Nurses Association – American equivalent) and Nurse John!

About AIIUQ :

Founded in 1985, AIIUQ brings together around 7,000 emergency nurses in Quebec. Its objectives include fostering exchanges and collaboration between nurses in different regions, developing training programs specific to emergency nursing, promoting research in this field, involving nurses in public education, establishing standards and criteria of competence, organizing congresses and training days, and contributing to the development of their field of activity.
