L’ASSOCIÉ is a firm specializing in association management and event planning. Our team meets the diverse needs of more than 40 associations, with whom we have built strong collaborative relationships and partnerships over the years. We offer the following services: member services, administrative support, governance, event planning, communications, accounting, and even web development. We are currently looking for an administrative assistant who wants to get involved in this unique and rewarding field.

Administrative support:
Data entry;
Answering calls;
Managing emails;
Managing correspondence;
Billing;
Mailing and, occasionally, preparing direct mailings;
Clerical support and formatting various documents;
Grammar checking and proofreading documents;
Any other related tasks.
Event organization:
Monitoring event registrations;
Monitoring and coordinating exhibitor needs in collaboration with the project manager;
Assisting the project manager with the on-site implementation of organized events and activities;
Keeping event databases up to date;
Making phone calls and following up with association members and external organizations as needed to confirm their participation in events;
Preparing materials for training conferences (name tags, allergy cards, attendance lists, signage, etc.).
Level of education: Vocational diploma in office automation
Years of relevant experience: 2 to 5 years
Skills description: We are looking for a candidate with excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word). Basic knowledge of the following software would be an asset: Salesforce, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, and Jotform. In addition, we are looking for a versatile person who will have no difficulty performing multiple tasks, some recurring, some varied. The candidate will also have an excellent sense of priorities and good stress management skills. Finally, we are looking for someone with a keen interest in event planning.
Required languages: excellent command of spoken and written French, good command of spoken and written English;
Be available occasionally for evening and weekend activities;
Experience with teleworking (an asset);
Knowledge of how non-profits operate (an asset).

Number of hours per week: 37.5 hours, permanent position
