ORNAC national conference

The Fuego Team helped AIISOC organize their 28th national convention.

The AIISOC Convention had two main components: a face-to-face event in the City of Québec, and a virtual event. Bringing together healthcare professionals from across Canada, AIISOC asked us to help with event logistics for this 28th edition, as well as the creation of a micro-website.

The face-to-face event lasted five days and took place in the Québec City Convention Centre. It included more than 38 conferences, and three social events, including an opening evening, a gala, and a member appreciation evening.

The event was sponsored by 42 partners from the healthcare industry.

Formally formed in 1983, the Canadian Operating Room Nurses Association (ORNAC) is a member of the Canadian Nurses Association’s (CNA) Canadian Network of Nursing Specialties and the national voice of perioperative nurses across Canada. This non-profit association has a volunteer Board of Directors representing every province in Canada, as well as the fields of leadership, education and advanced practice. ORNAC promotes excellence through leadership in patient safety, best practices, career advancement and professional development for perioperative nurses. ORNAC wants patients to benefit from safe care based on best practices, and to put forward perioperative nurse managers who lead the development of effective perioperative teams.
